Community Programs Offered
IVI History
Community Day Services offers a structured day program that combines work, survival skills, and social activities to enhance living skills through vocational, educational and community training.
Community Employment
Community Employment assists with job seeking, application, interviewing, and post-employment. IVI assists each individual with a self-directed job search that works with each person’s strengths, abilities, and interests for the best job match.
Self Direction Assistance
Self-Direction Assistance provides you with the tools needed to direct your services in the Home Based Waiver program.
Personal Support Services
Personal Support Services provide support and assistance to individuals in their residence of choice. This program may also support and facilitate the provision of services and the participation in day program, employment and community integration services.
Transportation
Transportation is provided by Illinois Valley Industries which operates a fleet of vehicles that provides transportation for an annual fee. Transportation is subject to availability. Individuals may choose to provide their own transportation, car pool or be dropped off at the facility. Information and training is also available for alternative transportation options in the community.
Eligibility
ndividuals, 18 years of age or older, requesting services must have a diagnosed developmental disability – such as an intellectual disability, autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and/or other physical and mental barriers.
